Q01 Is the treatment safe for my kids and pets?

Yes, completely safe — after about 30 minutes of drying time. Our products are EPA-registered synthetic pyrethrins, derived naturally from the Chrysanthemum flower. Once dry, they are safe for children and pets. We also offer an all-natural product if you prefer that option.

Q02 How long do we need to stay off the yard after treatment?

Just 30 minutes — enough time for the product to dry. During high-humidity days it may take a bit longer, but your yard is ready for the afternoon.

Q03 What does the service cost — and what's included?

Every property is different, so pricing depends on the amount of foliage we need to treat. We come to your property and give you a free, no-obligation written estimate — we never price from satellite maps. As a small family-owned company, our rates are typically lower than the competition, and we'll match any comparable offer. Flea and tick control is already included at no extra charge.

Q04 Is flea and tick control included, or is that extra?

It's included — no extra charge. Just let us know when you contact us if you're currently dealing with fleas or ticks, so we can plan the treatment accordingly.

Q05 Will you let us know before you come out?

Yes — we typically give you a heads-up 2 days before the application so you can make sure pets are inside and the yard is ready.

Q06 How do we know the technician actually came?

Our technician always leaves a service slip at your door showing the date, time, and that the application was completed. You'll never have to wonder if we showed up.

Q07 How long does one treatment last?

21 days — about 3 weeks. Most customers treat every 3 weeks throughout the season (May through September) to keep their yard consistently mosquito-free.

Q08 Does rain wash away the barrier spray?

Light or quick showers won't affect it at all. A heavy, sustained wind-driven rain can reduce results. Our technicians monitor the weather and schedule your application to avoid heavy rain days.

Q09 Does it actually work — and what if I'm not happy with the results?

It works — and we back that up with a money-back guarantee. If you're not 100% satisfied, call us and we'll refund your money, no questions asked. Or we'll come back and reapply at no charge. Either way, you're covered.

Q10 Do I have to sign a contract or pay upfront?

No contract, no prepayment required. Pay as you go, treatment by treatment. If you do want to pay for a full season upfront, we give you a 5% discount.

Q11 How do I pay?

Cash, check, or online payment directly from your checking or savings account. After your treatment, we email you an invoice — just click the "pay" button. No hassle.

Q12 Does someone need to be home during the treatment?

No — you don't need to be home. We just ask that all pets be kept inside during the application. We'll leave a service slip at your door when we're done.

Q13 Is it safe around my fish pond or swimming pool?

For fish ponds: our standard products are hazardous to fish, so we cover the pond when possible or use protective techniques if covering isn't an option. The all-natural product is safe for fish. For swimming pools: none of our products will affect pool water, and we avoid letting any product contact the water directly.

Q14 Do you spray the lawn, or just the shrubs and foliage?

We focus on foliage and breeding areas — not the open lawn — unless you're specifically dealing with fleas or ticks. If the grass is unusually long, we may ask you to mow before we arrive. Every visit starts with a thorough inspection of your property to target the spots where mosquitoes breed and rest.
